1. Unban at never?

In a plot twist that shocked absolutely no one, Shinigami has earned himself a 30-day ban from the game. My current theory is that the hacks he used (that I meticulously documented in this guide), were just a bit too obvious, even for SnailGames.

that aged poorly

That aged poorly.

2. The return of AoW HuB

Meanwhile, the "Aow Hub" Discord account sprang to life around the same time, rushing to defend Shinigami with suspicious vigor, despite having thrown in the towel previously. However: "Aow Hub" is Shinigami. This isn’t just a theory. it’s laid out clearly in this investigative article. Yes, that means he’s potentially conversing with himself online.

3. To the community

Most importantly: I imagine everyone is watching everyone to catch that one slip-up. Tensions are high. If you think you've caught someone in the act of hacking, double check with the community to see if you're truly looking at hacks, or if it's a glitch or a feature you don't know about. Once you're sure, then send an e-mail to SnailGames in order to report. I don't think anyone wants to find out what happens if they send faulty reports to SnailGames, as they are highly unpredictable right now.

Also, again, I want to stress that using combat hacks, puts you at the risk of getting a ban. Two players with an extensive history of hacks, have been banned for 30 days within less than two weeks. This is unprecedented.

In conclusion: I recommend everyone steer clear of Shinigami and just continue enjoying Age of Wushu as you always have. There's no point in getting pulled into the drama of someone who, once again, couldn’t help but sabotage their own standing in the community.
